Encoder coupling


Encoder coupling, Is a coupling specially used to connect the motor and the encoder.Encoder couplings usually need to have the following characteristics:


1. Zero clearance: the entire coupling is not allowed to have any clearance during the transmission process;

2. Low inertia: On the basis of ensuring the transmission strength, the weight of the encoder coupling should be reduced as much as possible;

3. Good elasticity: The precise encoder coupling needs to absorb the deviation between the shaft and the shaft produced in the installation process to a large extent;

4. Compact structure: Encoder coupling is usually small in size, and its clockwise and counterclockwise rotation characteristics are exactly the same;

5. Maintenance-free: After the coupling is installed, there is basically no need for maintenance, and the installation is extremely convenient.


Encoder couplings are mainly classified as follows:


Aluminum alloy encoder coupling

(1) Made of aluminum alloy material, with low inertia and small size;

(2) The highly flexible elastic coupling can absorb the installation deviation to a large extent;

(3) The fixing method is divided into two types: clamping type and top screw type;

(4) Both metric and imperial sizes are available;

(5) There are two ways of slotting: parallel line and thread line.


Stainless steel encoder coupling

(1) It is made of stainless steel, which can bear greater transmission torque;

(2) Higher rigidity, no transmission hysteresis;

(3) The fixing method is divided into two types: clamping type and top screw type;

(4) Both metric and imperial sizes are available;

(5) There are two ways of slotting: parallel line and thread line.


Polyurethane encoder coupling

(1) Made of polyurethane material with extremely low rotational inertia;

(2) High flexibility;

(3) Good electrical insulation performance;

(4) Both metric and imperial sizes are available.


Bellows encoder coupling

(1) Ultra-flexible encoder coupling;

(2) Small size, extremely low moment of inertia;

(3) Zero clearance, strong corrosion resistance

(4) High torque rigidity, excellent sensitivity and transmission of large torque

(5) The structure of stainless steel bellows allows eccentricity, deflection angle and axial deviation

(6) The characteristics of clockwise and counterclockwise rotation are exactly the same

(7) Long life, maintenance-free for life

(8) Shaft sleeve material: aluminum alloy (optional stainless steel)

(9) Fixing method: top wire fixing
